TriConnect Advanced Edition is a version of TriConnect that is intended
to suit your corporate or professional hardware and network
communication needs. In addition to the basic features of the free
version, the following additional features are included:
Hex View Mode
Perfect for exploring protocols, allows to see what non-printable characters
are actually there.

TCP Connection Bookmarks
Allows to establish connection to a frequently used location in just in a
couple taps instead of typing the hostname and port number every time.

Local Echo
Helps to see what you are actually typing in case the remote hardware or a
network service does not echo the characters back to you. This option can be
enabled by setting a mark in a checkbox in the preferences dialog.

Saving Session Logs
Used to keep track of received and sent (if the local echo is enabled) data.
Extremely useful in case your device or network service reports something
really important or if you want to mail or archive the obtained information.
Simply check another box and sessions will be recorded to the standard Memo
folder of your Palm automatically.

Sending Special Characters
Do you have a device that requires that an ESC is sent before every command? Do
you want to be able to emulate sending of non-printable characters you cannot
type using graffiti or the on-screen keyboard. There is a menu item that allows
sending any of the characters beween 0 and 255.

Scripted Keystrokes
With TriConnect Advanced Edition you may specify as many pre-configured
keystrokes as you need, to save your time typing the same stuff over and over
again. TriConnect Advanced Keystroke is a very useful thing. Actually, it's
more like a script, where you can specify what data to send and what to expect
the remote device or network service to answer. As soon as an answer is
received, the script goes on with the next item, until all the steps you
defined are passed.

Executing keystrokes is easy. It's done by invoking the dialog and tapping the
"Start" button.

Periodically Executed Keystrokes
You can define a keystroke that, once activated, should be executed
periodically with a defined time interval. Especially it's useful with an
equipment you have to show some activity to, so that it doesn't close the
session. It may also simply request status output from the device for your
convenience. Defining such a keystroke is easy. Simply check the "Execute
every" checkbox and specify the interval in seconds.
